Quick Vacation
No, I didn't drop off the face of the earth...my husband and I took a quick trip to warm and sunny Mexico. A nice long weekend in Playa del Carmen.
We had a great time and the weather couldn't have been better --- we left with snow on the ground at O'Hare and were welcomed by the warm breeze of the Carribean.
The resort we stayed at was connected to a really cool park called Xcaret. It was great to be able to spend a couple hours and then walk back for lunch for a quick nap. Some highlights included snorkeling an underground river, Snuba tour (cross between snorkeling and SCUBA) and Sea Trek tour.
Here's a picture of the Sea Trek thing...it was really cool and hilarious. We wore a big helmet that had oxygen pumped into it...so you could walk around and breathe underwater. I have some really funny pictures...but I don't have a scanner. I'll try to do it when I visit my mom's house later this week.

I bet you had tons of fun! I've done Xcaret before - nice park, and the underground river thing was fun. I've done the Sea Trek too, but not Snuba. I'm a certified diver, but I don't dive any more because I have too much trouble with my sinuses afterwards. Still love snorkeling, though.
LOL did you get the cigarette smoking the cigarette? LOL and you took it on vacation! awesome! LOL
