Knit Night with The Gals...

I had so much fun last night --- a few of my girlfriends came over for vegetarian chili, wine, and knitting!

Erin learned to purl and started a really pretty ribbed (for her pleasure) scarf out of baby alpaca. I can't wait to see it finished --- it's going to be amazing!

Kathy must have been a knitter in a previous life because she had those pointy sticks a-clickin' --- well, after we took the size 17 needles (aka vampire killers) out of her hands and gave her a set of size 10. Her skinny scarf is a beautiful shade of blue. I have a feeling she'll have that scarf finished in no time!

Brooke was crabby because she'll never finish her Lace Leaf Sweater. She also tried to steal my Fetching fingerless gloves --- nice try! [By the way, thank you, Brooke, for snapping these pictures!]

Marie finished the bottom and sleeves of her brown Lace Leaf Sweater and is working on the top half. I can't wait to see it finished --- you can do it, Murdock!

Kathy brought me a project to work on. She received a hand knit baby blanket from her mother-in-law's friends -- they all knit squares that were then sewen together. This person, obviously, did a shit job. The blanket fell apart after the first (and only) washing --------->

Kathy needs to display this on Sunday at Kaitlyn's Christening party. I will try my best to see what I can do.

Stay tuned for updated pictures of how this looks after spending a few hours with me!
