Operation Baby Blanket - Complete!!

I'm so happy to report that I finished mending this baby blanket for my friend Kathy.

The blanket was a gift from her mother-in-law's girlfriends --- they each knitted squares.

After receiving it, Kathy washed it, and the stitching between the squares gave out.

Using multicolored yarn, I restitched the entire blanket --- I think it looks much better.

I know Kathy will be happy she can display it on Sunday at her daughter's Christening Party.

By the way, I think this is the world's largest baby blanket. If it holds up, Kaitlyn will be able to still use it in college!
